Who we're looking to interview.
They're in Middle Tennessee
Nashville and the counties around it. We stay close to home because that's where we can actually go and sit down with somebody.
They're giving back
Through a nonprofit, a business that serves the community, or their own time as a volunteer.
They're doing the work, not just talking about it
They don't have to be well known. Most of our guests run something you've never heard of, and that's usually the point.
They're up for an honest, hopeful conversation
We ask about the hard parts as well as the good ones, and we keep the show away from politics and divisive subjects. We record remotely, so they'll need a computer with a camera and microphone.
We love a good comeback story, but this show is built around what people are doing for others.

After you send it.
We keep this part simple, and the person you name stays in control of it.

Every nomination comes straight to the two of us. There is no team it gets handed to.
We reach out to them.
Not to you. If we think there is an episode in it, we contact the person you named and ask whether they are open to a conversation.
Nobody is committed.
Being nominated is not an obligation. People say no, or say not yet, and that is a perfectly good answer.
